We have been running an outreach programme with Schools, scouts and even one to one with single students. It usually takes the form of schools visiting the observatory, familiarizing students in basic astronomy, showing the scale of the universe. We provide enough information for students to carry out an observational project that can be organised with their teacher from their school classroom. In the case of single students, whom already have a familiarisation in astronomy, it may mean carrying out a more advanced project. We either provide remote access to the telescopes or we provide the data as requested by the student. This has flexibility in reducing the time needed to complete an observational type project.
