Spain: We are planning to locate some of our telescopes to south east Spain. We have a new mountain location site at 1650m (5500 ft) in the Andalucia district. There are 250 clear nights with 1 arc sec seeing. At present a new 0.6m telescope will be located in 2017.
Because all the telescopes have fixed mounts to our latitude here at 54 degrees, the 0.6m telescope mount was built for the new latitude.
Latitude: 37° 57′ (37.95°) north
Longitude: 2° 34′ (2.5667°) west
We expect in 2017 to locate this telescope to this new site. The 0.9m telescope will also have to be significantly modified for this new latitude and eventually relocated.
